Training and Grants - News and Reminders

• Holders of Site Safety Plus qualifications that expired after 15 March have until 30 November to pass the refresher courses, otherwise the full course will need to be re-sat. Courses are available both in classroom and remotely.

• First Aid qualifications that expired after 16 March 2020 can remain valid until 31 October 2020 or 6 months from date of expiry, whichever is later. All requalification training for these certificates should be completed by 31 March 2021.

• The last date for submitting CITB grant claims for 2019-20 is 30 November 2020. Please take the opportunity to double check you have received all that you were expecting. Please contact the training group if you need any help to do this.

• The Skills and Training fund applications change for employers with less than 100 PAYE staff on 30 November and for employers with 100-250 staff on 31 October. Don’t miss out - check how to apply here.
